Mapletree Industrial Trust has reported a DPU of 2.32 Singapore cents for its fiscal 3Q ending December 2012. This represents a rise of 7.4% compared to the same period last year which saw a DPU of 2.16 cents.
Meanwhile gross revenue for the period was up S$3.5 million to S$69.2 million from a year ago. Net property income for the same period rose by S$4.5 million to S$49.1 million.

In a filing to the Singapore Exchange, Mapletree Industrial Trust has said that it expects rents for generic factory space and business parks to hold firm in the near term. However it has admitted that in the long run, a large supply of industrial space in the pipeline is going to exert a downward pressure on rents.
Mapletree Industrial Trust currently owns 81 properties worth S$2.7 billion as of March 2012.
