Mapletree Logistics Trust is looking to grow in markets such as South Korea.

Mapletree Logistics Trust (MLT) (SGX:M44U) has given a Notice of Change in Interest of Substantial Unitholder after investment groups BNY Mellon and Newton Management each reduced their stakes in the Singapore-based warehouse landlord.

In a notification filed this afternoon, MLT disclosed that investment management heavyweight BNY Mellon has disposed off 875,000 shares from each of its 3 subsidiaries with substantial holdings in MLT at SGD$1.22 per unit.

Similarly fund manager Newton Management Limited has disposed of the same number of shares, bringing its stake in MLT in line with that of each of BNY Mellon's subsidiaries to 5.98% from 6.01% previously.

MLT closed the trading day at SGD$1.20
