Singapore-listed retail REIT, CapitaLand Mall Trust (SGX:C38U), has indicated that it is “currently exploring its options with regard to Funan DigitaLife Mall”.
“These options include and are not limited to a disposal or redevelopment of [the property]”, the REIT announced on 15 July.
Funan DigitaLife Mall is a retail property popular for information technology, gaming, digital and lifestyle products. The property was acquired by the REIT in 2002 and features close to 300,000 square feet of net lettable area.
CapitaLand Mall Trust has however emphasised that it has not entered into any agreement or transaction in connection with the property.
“If and when there are any material developments, the manager will make the appropriate announcement on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited”, said the REIT.
Units of CapitaLand Mall Trust last changed hands on the Singapore Exchange at SGD2.15.
