The Bank Of New York (BNY) Mellon Corporation has marginally reduced its deemed interest in Singapore-listed healthcare REIT, Parkway Life REIT (SGX:C2PU).

The financial services provider filed a notification to the Singapore Exchange on 7 October stating that a direct unit holder under the corporation has disposed 20,000 units, bringing its deemed stake in the REIT to 6.99%, down from 7 % previously.

The units were disposed for SGD2.29 per unit on 5 October.

With the change in deemed interest, BNY Mellon Corporation now has a deemed interest of 42.33 million units of Parkway Life REIT.

Units of Parkway Life REIT are currently listed on the Singapore Exchange at SGD2.27.
