2015 has generally been a dismal year for Singapore-listed REITs and trusts. Only five counters finished the year higher that their respective prices recorded on 2 January 2015 which was the first trading day of the year:

The list of 10 best performing Singapore REITs & trusts in terms of price appreciation for 2015 is being led by Ascendas Hospitality Trust (SGX:Q1P). However it is worth mentioning the significant price appreciation around 23 December 2015 when it was revealed that the trust is in talks with an unnamed party with regards to an offer for a buyout of all issued stapled securities.
