Singapore-listed stapled security, OUE Hospitality Trust (SGX:SK7), announced on 12 January that it has appointed Lee Yi Shan as deputy chairman and non-independent non-executive director of OUE Hospitality REIT Management and OUE Hospitality Trust Management.

The companies are OUE Hospitality Trust’s REIT manager and trustee-manager respectively.

Lee Yi Shan was previously a senior minister of state with Singapore’s Ministry of Trade & Industry and Ministry of National Development from September 2012 to September 2015. He currently serves as a member of parliament for the East Coast group representation constituency.

Lee also currently serves as executive adviser to the chairman's office at OUE Limited.

Following Lee’s appointment, the board of managers of OUE Hospitality REIT Management and OUE Hospitality Trust Management will each have a total of seven directors.

Units of OUE Hospitality Trust last changed hands on the Singapore Exchange at SGD0.74.
