Manulife US REIT has announced the appointment of 37-year-old Jennifer Renee Schillaci as its new Chief Investment Officer.

She replaces 54-year-old Jeffrey Charles Wolfe, who has left the role to pursue other career opportunities within the Manulife Group.

According to the REIT, Schillaci has worked with Manulife Real Estate group for the past 14 years, and her responsibilities have included acquisitions, dispositions and financing for some of Manulife private funds.

She will now be responsible for executing the REIT’s investment programme, and oversee matters such as asset management, property management and acquisition in the US for the REIT.

“With her strong knowledge of the Manulife Group and her real estate expertise, Jennifer will be able to contribute strongly as we enter the next phase of growth for Manulife US REIT”, the REIT added.
