Cache Logistics Trust may have lost the right of first refusal (ROFR) to warehouse operator CWT’s properties, but the REIT will likely benefit in the long run from a more unilateral management structure.

In what appears to be an attempt to streamline leadership and decision making processes, ARA Asset Management announced on 25 June that it is acquiring all of CWT’s shares in the REIT and property managers of Cache Logistics Trust.

CWT currently owns 40% and 60% of shares in Cache Logistics Trust’s REIT and property managers respectively.
