Link REIT is disposing 12 of its properties across Hong Kong for a total consideration of HKD12.01 billion (USD1.5 billion).

The REIT has entered into agreements with a consortium led by Gaw Capital Partners for the transaction.

The sale consideration is the highest offered for the properties, and represents a premium of approximately 32.1% to the properties’ appraised value as at 30 September 2018.

Link REIT will realise a net disposal gain of about HKD2,787.6 million from the sale.
