Cromwell European REIT has successfully raised some EUR150 million from a private placement exercise to fund the acquisition of six properties across France and Poland.

The exercise was considerably oversubscribed by existing unitholders and new investors, which allowed Cromwell European REIT to exercise the placement in full, said the REIT’s manager.

The REIT announced earlier on 21 June that it has entered into agreements to acquire three freehold properties in France, and three freehold properties in Poland for EUR246.9 million.
