Singapore’s National Library Board (NLB) is expanding its presence at Lot One Shoppers’ Mall - a property of retail-focused REIT, CapitaLand Mall Trust (CMT).

A refurbishment of the property is currently underway to cater for the expansion, and it will be carried out as part of wider plans to rejuvenate the mall, said CEO of the REIT’s manager, Tony Tan.

Lot One Shoppers’ Mall is one of CMT’s older properties, and serves an average of 16.8 million visitors annually in Choa Chu Kang.

It was acquired by the REIT in 2007, and features about 220,000 square foot of net lettable area (NLA).
