A combination of low interest rates, and improved cost of equity will support a strong acquisition outlook for US healthcare REITs in 2020, Mizuho Securities has advised in a recent note to investors.

In addition to this, challenges faced by healthcare REITs over the past few years, such large tenant restructurings in senior housing and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), have largely dissipated.
