United Hampshire US REIT has lodged a preliminary prospectus to list on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

It will be the first US-focused REIT in Singapore with a portfolio of essential retail, and self-storage properties.

The REIT will be sponsored by a partnership between UOB Global Capital LLC and the Hampshire Companies LLC.

The initial portfolio of United Hampshire US REIT consists of 22 properties with 3.17 million square feet of net lettable area (NLA).

These are namely 18 grocery & necessity properties with a total NLA of 2.86 million square feet, and four self-storage properties with a total NLA 310,000 square feet.
