Singapore REITs that are deemed to be aligned with Shari’ah principles have thus far outshone their peers in terms of impact from COVID-19, and are continuing to draw in institutional funds amid a broader sell-off.
Presently, the only formally certified Shari’ah-compliant REIT in Singapore is Sabana REIT, which was listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) in 2010.
