Malaysian engineering and construction firm AME Elite Consortium Berhad (AME) has indicated its intention to list an industrial REIT on the Bursa Malaysia.

It will be provisionally referred to as the AME REIT, and its initial portfolio will consist of selected industrial properties that are currently owned by subsidiaries of AME, said the company in a bourse filing on 1 December.

Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad has been appointed as the principal advisor and bookrunner for the establishment, and subsequent listing of the AME REIT.
