Unitholders of Eagle Hospitality REIT have rejected the proposed appointment of SC Capital Partners (SC) as its replacement manager.
Resolutions that would have collectively approved the appointment of SC did not stand during the REIT’s extraordinary general meeting (EGM) that was held on 30 December.
SC has been proposed as the REIT’s replacement manager following a directive from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), which called for a mandatory removal of the previous manager.
