ESR-REIT’s exclusive negotiation with a data centre operator, which would have occupied a significant amount of space at 7000 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5, has lapsed.

But the REIT remains optimistic that the asset will be in a good position to still attract other data centre operators once the Singapore government-imposed moratorium on new data centres is lifted.

The matter was confirmed by the CEO of the REIT’s manager, Adrian Chui, in response to questions from REITsWeek.
