Festival Walk, a property of Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust

Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust (MNACT) was the top REIT Singapore Exchange (SGX)-listed REIT disposed of by institutional investors during the trading week that began on 27 December.

This was despite a days-long trading halt that was requested by the managers of MNACT and its sister REIT, Mapletree Commercial Trust (MCT), on 28 December that effectively shortened the trading period for both REITs during the week to just one day.

The halt was requested ahead of an announcement that proposed a merger between the two REITs.
