Lippo Malls Indonesia Retail Trust (LMIRT) is faced with elevated debt levels, and is now considering several options, including asset divestments to pare down its debt.

The REIT, which presently owns a portfolio of 29 retail malls across Indonesia, has a gearing level of about 44.6% as at 31 December 2022.

This is based on updated approximate asset valuations that have been provided to the REIT.
