The unit price of retail REIT Frasers Centrepoint Trust (FCT) retreated slightly at the close of the trading day on 7 February amid an unusually high volume of married deals.

FCT is a Singapore-focused REIT that owns a portfolio of suburban retail malls, most of which are located near major public transportation nodes.

The Singapore Exchange (SGX)-listed REIT recently moved to increase its stake in NEX, the largest retail mall in Northeast Singapore, and carried out a private placement exercise to fund the purchase.
