Starhill Global REIT has locked in a modest annual rent increase of just 1.0% for its master lease with Toshin Development Singapore, despite provisions in the agreement that could have allowed for a significantly higher rise.
The REIT’s manager, YTL Starhill Global REIT Management Limited, announced on 17 December 2025 that the new annual fixed rent for the three-year period beginning 8 June 2025 will be approximately 1.0% higher than the base rent under the previous master lease, which ended on 7 June 2025.
Starhill Global REIT is a Singapore-listed REIT that owns a portfolio of retail and office assets, most of which are located in Singapore.
