Centurion Accommodation REIT has received provisional permission to expand its Westlite Ubi property by adding a new six-storey block and modifying the existing eight-storey building, the REIT announced on 10 February 2026.
The proposed works will increase the property's capacity by 540 beds, bringing the total from 1,650 beds to 2,190 beds once completed.
Centurion Asset Management, which manages the REIT, said it will pay a land premium of approximately SGD13.9 million to JTC Corporation for the development rights.
