Lendlease Global Commercial REIT recorded the steepest institutional net outflows among Singapore-listed REITs during the week of 23 February 2026, with institutional investors net selling SGD21.0 million worth of its units.

This came during the same week the REIT announced it was acquiring full ownership of PLQ Mall and launching a SGD196.6 million rights issue to help fund the deal.

Lendlease REIT is a Singapore-focused commercial REIT with a principal investment strategy of investing in stabilised income-producing real estate used primarily for retail and office purposes.

Its portfolio, as at end-September 2025, comprised three Singapore retail properties — Jem, 313@somerset, and a 70% interest in PLQ Mall — as well as three freehold Grade A commercial buildings in Milan, Italy, with a total appraised value of SGD3.9 billion.

To fund the acquisition of PLQ Mall, the REIT launched an underwritten non-renounceable preferential offering to raise SGD196.6 million by issuing nearly 352.4 million new units at SGD0.558 each, at a ratio of 119 new units for every 1,000 existing units.
