Nearly a year after it first disclosed an ongoing strategic review, Acrophyte Hospitality Trust (ACRO-HT) appears no closer to a resolution, but the prolonged silence may itself be telling.

In its latest announcement dated 25 May, the managers of the Singapore-listed hospitality stapled group said that discussions with its sponsor, Tang Organization Pte. Ltd., over "a potential transaction relating to the stapled securities" remains ongoing.

It is the thirteenth consecutive monthly update since the review was first flagged on 30 May 2025, and each has carried the same carefully worded message, talks are continuing, nothing is certain, and unitholders should exercise caution.

For market watchers, the pattern is becoming harder to ignore.
