First REIT's chief executive has signalled that the Singapore-listed healthcare REIT may look beyond its founding mandate and explore acquisitions outside the healthcare sector.
This intention was revealed as First REIT prepares to exit its entire Indonesian portfolio in a two-tranche divestment worth up to SGD707 million.
First REIT is Singapore’s first healthcare REIT and it has been heavily vested in Indonesia, owning a stable of mostly private hospitals across the country.
