American Healthcare REIT, Inc. announced on 1 September 2026 that it has closed on six senior living communities acquired from Kensington Senior Living for a total investment of approximately USD572 million.

The communities, comprising 464 units, form part of a larger eight-community, 745-unit portfolio with an aggregate contract purchase price of roughly USD873 million, which the REIT said was well below replacement cost.
