ARA US Hospitality Trust has filed its preliminary prospectus with the financial regulators of Singapore, with a view of eventually listing on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

The USD-denominated trust will assume the structure of a stapled group, comprising of ARA Hospitality REIT, and ARA Hospitality Business Trust.

ARA US Hospitality Trust will be sponsored by a subsidiary of real estate investment giant, ARA Asset Management Limited.

Cornerstone investors that have been named in an potential initial public offering include Bank of Singapore, UOB, and DBS, all of which will be investing on behalf of their respective wealth management clients, and Credit Suisse AG.

ARA US Hospitality Trust is being established with the principal investment strategy of investing in a portfolio of income-producing hospitality real estate in the US, said the prospectus.
