Supermarket Income REIT is acquiring a portfolio of six freehold supermarkets for GBP74.1million (USD92 million).

The portfolio is being acquired via a sale and leaseback transaction with Waitrose & Partners.

The acquisition consideration reflects a net initial yield of 4.4%.

Supermarket Income REIT is a real estate investment trust dedicated to investing in grocery properties.
