Keppel DC REIT has completed the acquisition of a data centre located in Bracknell in the United Kingdom.
The property was inducted into the REIT’s portfolio on 11 January, Keppel DC REIT disclosed the day after.
The REIT first announced in December 2021 that it is acquiring the asset from a Fiera Real Estate and SEDCO Capital joint venture.

The asset has been funded with proceeds from Keppel DC REIT’s most recent placement, and external financing.
Now that the acquisition is complete, Keppel DC REIT’s aggregate leverage has increased from 36.4% as at 30 September 2021 to 38.2%.
Accordingly, Keppel DC REIT’s weighted average lease expiry (WALE) has improved from 7.7 years to 8.1 years.
Keppel DC REIT was last done on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) at SGD2.30, which presently implies a distribution yield of 4.28% according to data on the Singapore REITs table.
